A Wellington teacher used hidden cameras to secretly record nearly 100 women at his home, including when they were using the bathroom, a court has heard. The man, whose name is suppressed, appeared in the Wellington District Court on Friday and pleaded guilty to 54 charges of making intimate visual recordings or objectionable publications. But he had videos and pictures of dozens more women that were not the subject of charges for legal reasons. Police laid charges relating to more than 18 hours of video taken between 2013 and 2018, and dozens of photographs, taken in the bathroom and bedrooms.
