GEORGE TOWN: A teacher and a cook were picked up for taking part in an illegal motorcycle racing along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Highway near Balik Pulau, early today. "The secondary school teacher was riding a yellow Yamaha YZF-R1 while the 31-year-old cook was riding a red Aprilia RSV4." He said prior to the arrest, both men were racing each other and showing off their riding skills with dangerous stunts along the stretch. The stretch is a popular spot for illegal racing especially during the weekends. Races usually start at night from Jalan Kampung Jawa area along the highway to Seagate food court traffic light junction.
