A teacher and a firefighter among six men charged with sexual offences involving a 14-year-old girl have been granted bail on Wednesday. Tam and Tso’s bail applications were accepted by High Court judge Justice Judianna Barnes Wai-ling. Tam’s bail conditions included a cash bail of HK$25,000 and a surety of HK$25,000, while Tso’s were HK$150,000 and HK$50,000 respectively. They were ordered not to leave Hong Kong and not to contact prosecution witnesses. It is illegal in Hong Kong to have sex with a girl under 16 years old.
