World-famous Teacher Peter Tabichi and marathoner Eliud Kipchoge have formally joined the National Heroes Council of Kenya. Chief Justice David Maraga, on Monday, November 2 presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Tabichi, who won the Global Teacher Prize in 2019, marathoner Eliud Kipchoge, among others. Registrars, as well as members of the new National Heroes Council. National Heroes CouncilHeroes Council is a fairly new entity created through the National Heroes Act 2014 to identify and appreciate heroes in the country. Tabichi achievementsTabichi won the prestigious 2019 Global Teacher Prize in March 2019 and bagged a Ksh100 million reward.
