Teacher Appreciation Day was celebrated in Kendall on Tuesday night Fifty-seven South Florida teachers were chosen as teacher of the year at their respective schools. Speakers were invited to talk about the special teachers in their lives. The teachers were treated to raffle prizes including a $5,000 check won by Carla Prado. Congratulations to her.
