These are the coin-operated arcade machines I used to make trips to seaside towns to play. However, trying out the new self-build Street Fighter machine from Arcade1Up seems to have done the trick. After talking further I realised he’d found videos online about how to do this and wanted to “see the guts” of our new arcade machine.
