Annie Bell, 18, was found in a vehicle in Mangaokewa Stream, southeast out of Te Kūiti. The person found dead in a partly submerged car in the King Country was Annie Bell. Police retrieved the 18-year-old's body from the vehicle in Mangaokewa Stream, near Te Kūiti, on Tuesday. Bell was from Te Kūiti, police said. Police previously said the vehicle was partly submerged in high waters in the stream, near Rangitoto Road.
