Josef Sagemueller said he was in Bangkok to have the pearl ornaments repaired. On his way from Silom area in Bangkok to the airport, he fell asleep in the taxi. Mr Kraisorn said after he dropped the German at the airport, he returned to his taxi depot and found the wallet on the floor of the back seat.
