A taxi driver has allegedly been beaten to death following an argument over a trifling matter at Dhaka’s Khilkhet. The deceased is Kismat Ali, 37, son of Foyej Ali of Gazipur. He was a taxi driver. “Kismat engaged in an altercation with locally influential Topu over drinking tea in Kuratoli of Khilkhet around 11pm Friday. The body was kept at the hospital morgue and would be sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
