Productivity growth in the US…But Silicon Valley has contributed very little to productivity. In fact, one of the chapters in our book details the fact that the productivity growth in the US after 1980 is not unlike in 1990 or 1995, except five years in between, productivity growth has always been at the level it was from 1975 to 1995. Productivity levels are nowhere near the productivity growth rates of 1945 to 1950s.Maybe, maybe.
