THE Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has assured the people of Tawari community that his administration would do everything to stand by them and ensure immediate assistance for the victims of the attack. Recall that some unknown gunmen on Thursday night attacked Tawari community in Kogi Local Government Area of the state, burning buildings, including the palace of the king of the community. The governor’s visit came a day after he delegated his Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, to visit Tawari Community for on the spot assessment of the attack. Bello reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring that the attackers of Tawari Community that caused the destruction of lives and property, were fished out and brought to justice. The governor thanked the security agencies in the state including the state vigilante service for their prompt response in restoring peace in the community.
