Tatua CEO steps down after eight years at helmTatua Dairy Company chief executive Paul McGilvary will step down from his position in six months to allow "new blood" into the independent co-operative. McGilvary's dairy industry career began in 1980 when fresh out of university be started work with the Dairy Board. Tatua suppliers have consistently received a higher payout than other dairy companies have been able to offer. I consider it a privilege to have lead such an iconic New Zealand company for the past eight years including during its centenary celebrations in 2014," he said. During McGilvary's term as CEO, the company has doubled staff numbers from 180 to 360.
