Mumbai: Tata Motors Ltd launched its all new multi-purpose vehicle Hexa on Wednesday. In the absence of a completely new model launch in the UV segment and intensifying competition from rival brands, Tata Motors’ share in the segment has been under pressure. Mayank Pareek, president passenger vehicles business at the firm, said, “The Hexa will offer Tata Motors “a strong footprint in the UV market”. The Hexa is the first new launch in the UV segment by the Mumbai-based firm since it launched Aria. The new offering from Tata Motors has come at a time when the UV market in India is outpacing the broader passenger vehicle market.
