Tata Motors has launched its latest offing, the Hexa crossover SUV, at an introductory starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). While the crossover was launched on Wednesday, Tata Motors had already started accepting bookings for the Hexa at a token amount of Rs 11,000. According to ZeeBiz, Tata Motors while launching the car said, "pre-bookings suggest 60% have gone for automatic transmission than manual." While the VARICOR400 engine will be available with a 6-speed automatic or manual transmission, the VARICOR320 engine will come with a 5-speed manual transmission.
