While the whiskeys have been maturing at Stitzel-Weller, none of the Rhetoric whiskeys released to date were produced there. The Rhetoric whiskeys released by Orphan Barrel, are based on the historic Bernheim recipe. Diageo has not disclosed the total number of barrels of Rhetoric slated for release by the Orphan Barrel Whiskey Distilling Company. Orphan Barrel has been releasing successive batches of Rhetoric whiskey that are one year older than their predecessor.
