Rebecca Amos, centre, and the Thai Community perform Fonjong, an umbrella dance from Northern Thailand, at the Tasman Asian Night Food Fair held at Washbourn Gardens, Richmond. A food fair in Richmond saw crowds gather to enjoy ethnic food from Asia and beyond. In its fourth year, the Tasman Asian Night Food Fair fed and entertained thousands at Washbourn Gardens, tantalising tastebuds with foods including Japanese, Filipino, Thai, Indonesian, Indian, Nepalese and Palestinian. The foodies showed their appreciation by buying the $5 cook book, Around the World in Tasty Ways, put together by Multicultural Nelson Tasman and featuring 48 stories and recipes from Nelson locals. Around the World in Tasty Ways can be purchased from Multicultural Nelson Tasman for $5.
