Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen, currently living in exile in India, says Delhi should change its stance on the Rohingya and provide shelter to them. In an interview with News18.com, she said it was up to Delhi to decide whether the refugees were a security threat. She said the Rohingya posed similar threats to Bangladesh but Dhaka provided them shelter. Delhi is now trying to deport the Rohingya over alleged terror ties. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government has been criticised for not speaking out against the persecution of the Rohingya.
