Stuttgart is today at a standstill as an estimated 100,000 Scottish football fans descend on the city for Sunday's crucial Euro 2024 clash. The main Schloss Platz fan zone was given over to 30,000 ticketless Germany fans, keen to watch the host nation’s match with Switzerland from Frankfurt. The Tartan Army has been allocated the much smaller Stadt Garten, a minor city centre park next to Stuttgart’s University. So we pushed the host organisation to do something for the thousands of ticketless Scotland fans who we expected to be here. "The Scotland fan zone is for around 10,000 and I believe they have got an overflow plan as well.
