About 250 security men congregated at the Goldfields Junior Staff Club House in Tarkwa for merrymaking. The security agencies present included the Ghana Armed Forces, Ghana Police Service, National Security, Ghana National Fire Service, Customs Division, Ghana Prison Service, among others. "In fact, our security men have done well throughout the year and they deserve to be recognized, apart from God, security agencies in this country have been protecting us," he acknowledged. Most of the security men expressed their gratitude to the MP for such a humanitarian gesture and prayed for him.
