Taoiseach Leo Varadkar will meet UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak for talks while on a trip to Granada in Spain on Thursday. The Taoiseach will attend a meeting of the European Political Community meeting on Thursday, as well an informal meeting of the European Council, which are taking place in Spain as part of the Spanish Presidency of the EU on Thursday and Friday. The meeting of the European Political Community will be the third meeting since this forum was founded and involves 47 heads of State and Government from across the continent, from inside and outside the European Union. Mr Varadkar will also hold bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the Swiss President, Alain Berset, the Prime Minister of Latvia, Evika Siliņa, and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovačevski.
