According to English news outlets Mirror and Daily Mail, Tanzanian striker Ally Samatta is on the verge of completing a £8.4million move to Premier League side Aston Villa from Belgian outfit Genk. The 27-year-old, who is famous for scoring against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League group stages, has bagged an impressive 76 goals for “The Smurfs” in just 191 appearances. Samatta will become Villa’s third signing of the year after the acquisition of Former Chelsea midfielder Danny Drinkwater and ex-Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
