Tanner Roark, left, and Matt Wieters have a talk on the mound during Friday night’s game. (Jonathan Newton/The Washington Post)There will be nights, especially during stretches such as the one the Washington Nationals are trudging through, when a team is just flat. It happened to the Washington Nationals in a 5-2 loss Friday night to the Texas Rangers. Delino DeShields followed with a single before Cashner moved the runners over with a bunt and Roark walked Choo to load the bases. The Rangers left 13 runners on base and went 1 for 10 with runners in scoring position.
