GEORGE TOWN: Tanjung Bungah assemblyman Teh Yee Cheu (pic) has quit DAP. He also confirmed that he will be leaving the constituency to contest in the Sungai Pinang state seat in the general election. Teh made the announcement after tendering a letter along with his membership cards to Sri Tanjung Bungah DAP branch chairman Lim Cheng Hoe at his service centre here on Sunday (April 8). The letter, which he read out during the press conference, was addressed to state DAP chairman Chow Kon Yeow, expressing his intention to leave the party. Teh, who is known as "Lone Ranger", had announced that he will leave DAP after the dissolution of Parliament.
