The accused, Aminul Islam, 25, a resident of Ghatail upazila, Tangail, allegedly had a romantic relationship with the 22-year-old girl, a resident of Kashiadanga, Rajshahi, for a year and a half. However, as the relationship turned sour, Aminul started posting her private photographs with him, which went viral on social media, police have said. “Acting on a case, filed under the Pornography Control Act on July 26, we arrested Aminul in Tangail,” said Kashiadanga police station OC Masud Parvez. “Aminul confessed to his crime and was sent to jail through the court,” added the OC.
