KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): Tan Chong Motor Assemblies Sdn Bhd has achieved a cumulative production of one million Nissan vehicles in the country last month, according to the Tan Chong Group. In a statement today, Edaran Tan Chong Motor Sdn Bhd (ETCM) sales and marketing director Christopher Tan said crossing the million vehicle mark demonstrated the performance, reliability and credibility of Nissan and the Tan Chong Group. Tan Chong Group first commenced its Malaysian operations in 1957, and celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year. Tan said that as part of Tan Chong's 60th Anniversary Super Deals campaign, the company was offering its best-selling model, the Nissan Almera 1.5L Automatic, from as low as RM600 a month. Adding to the campaign, ETCM also once again kicked off the Nissan UEFA Champions League Campaign for the third year running.
