The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are already better off now than they were last year when they traveled to California for Tom Brady’s homecoming against the San Francisco 49ers. In that game, the Bucs were without Tristan Wirfs, Shaquil Barrett, Mike Edwards, Antoine Winfield Jr., Sean Murphy-Bunting, lost Vita Vea four plays in, then lost Jamel Dean later in the game. As a result, the Bucs elevated practice squad safety Richard LeCounte to provide some depth behind Winfield Jr. and Dee Delaney. For the 49ers, they ruled out starting guard Aaron Banks as well as his backup Nick Zakelj, which is going to put some stress on the interior protection against the likes of Vita Vea and Calijah Kancey.
