Tamim during the pre-series press conference in Colombo on Monday reminded of how Sri Lanka Cricket had come forward in help when Bangladesh faced a similar situation few years back. “I would like to thank Sri Lanka cricket for the way they have looked after us so far in the tour. After the incident Sri Lanka went through couple of months ago, when we came to know that we will tour Sri Lanka and I think everyone was looking forward to this day,” said Tamim to the media on Monday. Playing Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka will be difficult but we have done well the last time we were here. I hope we continue doing that and produce some good cricket for Bangladesh,” said Tamim who is set to lead Bangladesh in ODIs for the first time.
