Tamim Iqbal outshone Lendl Simmons as Minister Group Dhaka breathed life into their Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 2022 campaign with a dominating nine-wicket win over Sylhet Sunrisers in Chittagong Friday. In the high-scoring match of two tons, Simmons first hammered a 65-ball 116 to take Sylhet to a competitive 175/5 in 20 overs at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. In the process, Dhaka avenged their seven-wicket loss to Sylhet in their first fixture a few days ago at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The capital city outfit rose into the top four with their second win in five matches, while Sylhet have one victory from three games. Tamim's was the 23rd BPL ton, 18th by an opener and ninth at ZACS.
