Senator Lynn Ruane has championed the fund, which is aimed at community projects in the Tallaght areaCommunity projects in Tallaght are set to benefit from a €300,000 windfall under a three-year funding programme to be launched next month. Grants of between €1,000 and €25,000 will be available through the Tallaght Fund, which is committing €100,000-a-year between 2021 and 2024. The money will come from private donors through the Síol Fund at the Community Foundation of Ireland. Apart from funding community projects in Tallaght, it will also provide mentoring and financial advice to successful applicants. The Tallaght Fund will open to applications on August 9.
