They are a biased, right-wing, Republican network, period. Lowering the speed limit is not going to help. Drivers don’t follow the speed limit now. People overuse Sheridan Road because we have an infrastructure of roads that was designed 50 years ago, and hasn’t been improved very much since. When solutions that will bypass Sheridan Road — like the continuation of the Amstutz Expressway past Winthrop Harbor — are offered, they’re ignored.
