Talent fest concludes at RSVP


The All India Sanskrit Students Talent Festival – 2018 came to a close here on Saturday, with the hosting institution, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSVP) – Tirupati, bagging overall championship title and the coveted ‘Vijayanthi Trophy’. More than 300 students from 30 Sanskrit universities across the country took part in the event, which comprised of 18 competitions – literary and cultural. Addressing the gathering during the valedictory session, Kavikulaguru Kalidas Sanskrit University (Nagpur) Vice Chancellor Prof.Srinivas Varakhedi hailed the varsities as ‘tapobhoomi’, which produces excellent students and teachers, working towards the propagation of Sanskrit language. Urging the students to take part in such events in future, Prof.Srinivas said that regular participation would enable them to develop competitive spirit and face the future with utmost confidence. Sastry, Vagvardhini Parishad's Coordinator Dr. Bharath Bhushan Rath and Additional Coordinator Dr. Yasaswee, faculty and students were present.
