MIAMI BEACH—The last big fashion event of the decade surprised us with bigger, badder Jordans (think AirDior) — and climaxed with a massive fireworks fury over the Miami sky. Dior Men, meet Art Basel: a supersized occasion, held Tuesday, that gave me a distinct taste test of the New Roaring Twenties. Also scores and scores of callow young men who clearly all went to the Timothée Chalamet Institute for Advanced Style. (But isn’t Justin Bieber the Justin Bieber of South America? Featuring the iconic monogram throughout and designed expressly to give sneaker-heads a massive heart attack once they hit stores next year.
