The opposition parties announced a State bandh on Thursday to protest against the injustice meted out to Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget. They were requested to shift their fight to Delhi and mount pressure on the Central government, the Minister said. Social Welfare Minister Nakka Ananda Babu said the protests should be staged in Delhi as it would draw the attention of the entire nation. “They can register their protest in the State and join hands to launch a untied fight in Delhi,” he added.
