SEREMBAN: Police have been urged to act against a man who was seen in a viral video clip mercilessly beating a dog with a piece of wood. In the five-second clip, the man could be seen hitting the animal which was tied with a chain in a house. The incident apparently took place in a low-cost housing scheme in Lukut near here on Saturday (Feb 8) evening. "There are provisions in the Animal Welfare Act 2015 against animal abuse. The female dog suffered injuries to its face and eyes, while a male dog sustained injuries near its ear.
