The tourist police were informed at 11.30am that the tourist, Xingfan Wu, was attacked while walking on Naresuan Road in Tambon Horatanchai in Muang district where she looking for a guesthouse. The woman told police that a man on a black motorcycle snatched her bag, causing her to fall. The bag had some cash and her passport. The bag snatcher sped off towards Uthong Road. A motorcyclist who saw the incident went in pursuit but lost sight of the snatcher in front of Wat Xian, police said.
