Investigators said that the suspect was the “brain” of the syndicate and had expertise in sophisticated drug concealment methods. Pol Lt Gen Achayon Kraithong, NSB commissioner, said that the arrest marked a success in disrupting a complex transnational narcotics network. NSB officers are coordinating closely with relevant agencies and Taiwanese authorities to pursue legal proceedings against Mr Chiang.
