One of them, Wu Yen-shan (吳燕山), arrived in the Dalinpu area later that year. Taipower’s Dalin Power Plant near Dalinpu village in Kaohsiung was a notorious polluter in the 1980s and 1990s. And last year, Dalinpu residents railed against the construction of an underground CPC pipeline through their community.
