With the Year of the Fire Horse now underway, this week’s “Taiwan in Time” takes a brief look at the history of horses in Taiwan. War horses brought by the Japanese military to Taiwan in 1895. Ming loyalist Koxinga’s army brought horses to Taiwan and kept them near what is today’s Tainan Judicial Museum.
