TAIPEI, Taiwan — Omni Nightclub Taipei has won the top prize at Germany's prestigious Red Dot Design Award. The Red Dot awards are among the most important and highly regarded design prizes in the world. The award has three levels of prizes: Honorable Mention, Red Dot: Winner and Red Dot: Best of the Best. Red Dot Design Award chief exec Peter Zec lauded the club, saying it had "provided entertainment combining great music, a fashionable space and nice service." Red Dot Design Award recently founded offshoot museums in Taiwan and Singapore, which Zec said was a demonstration of the eminence of modern Asian design.
