Dr Anthony Akoto Osei escaped when some members of the party’s vigilante group, Delta forces stormed a meeting with his constituents. The macho men were said to have destroyed items worth thousands of cedi and harassed NPP executives and the people who had gathered at the meeting. He said their attack was borne out of neglect by the party executives in the region after working tirelessly for them to win the 2016 electioneering campaign. “The MP was lucky he escaped but we gave some of the executives dirty slaps for not fulfilling their promise to us” Hak-Musah Tasure stated.
