"The prime minister will announce the work plan through a press conference at 10am from her official Ganabhaban residence," PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said on Saturday, reports BSS. Bangladesh Television, Bangladesh Betar as well as private television channels and radio stations will broadcast the press conference live, he added. In the press conference, the premier is set to make announcement on new incentive packages, the press secretary confirmed it in a statement issued on Thursday. A high-level meeting in this connection was held at Ganabhaban in Dhaka on Thursday evening with Sheikh Hasina in the chair. Earlier on March 25, Prime Minister Hasina announced a Tk5,000 crore stimulus package for the export-oriented industries – mostly to pay the salaries and wages of the workers and employees in the sector.
