Tabloid photojournalist dies covering TraslacionMANILA, Philippines (Updated 1:57 p.m.) — A tabloid photojournalist died while covering the Traslacion on Friday, January 9, according to the initial report of the Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO). The photojournalist, Itoh Son, worked for daily tabloid newspaper Saksi and was initially found unconscious with no pulse, lying down near the Manila Police District Station 5. According to the Presidential Task Force on Media Security, Son had a heart attack early morning and had already been suffering from the flu over the past days.
