TWSE welcomes new chairman, presidentTAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) held the handover ceremony for its new chairman, former minister without portfolio Jun-ji Shih, and its new president, former TPEx Deputy Chairman Chi-hsien Lee, recently, according to a press release from the TWSE. His experience includes serving as commissioner of the Securities and Exchange Commission, followed by director-general of the Securities and Futures Bureau and then Taipei Exchange president, said the TWSE. New TWSE President Chi-hsien Lee received his master's degree in economics from Chinese Culture University. Shih holds a Ph.D. in economics from National Taiwan University. His previous positions include research fellow at the Research Center for Humanities and Social Sciences, commissioner of the Fair Trade Commission, chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission, and minister without portfolio of the Executive Yuan, according to the TWSE.
