The City police on Tuesday arrested and produced in court Lipan Sahu, the husband of TV serial actor Laxmipriya Behera alias Nikita. She died last week after falling from the rooftop of her parents’ house at Mahanadi Vihar under the Chauliaganj police station. Based on circumstantial evidence and from the statements of the family and neighbours, the police decided to arrest Mr. Sahu. He was remanded in judicial custody after he was denied bail by a lower court. His parents have also been booked for domestic violence, they added.
