Veteran TV actor Jahan Ara Hai has recently come in the line of fire for her casual mention of tiger hunting in her interview on Hamare Mehman on ARY News. Viewers of the show are also upset that her interviewer glorified her hunting exploits. In her interview, the actor shared stories of her hunting expeditions detailing that she never felt scared because she had a gun and showed off the head of a tiger that her husband hunted. She also recalled her leopard hunting experience in which she drove the jeep while her husband shot the animal. The actor said they returned with assistance the following morning to find the animal and it was discovered by the locals “while it was still warm”.
