Share:ISLAMABAD - Banned Tehreek Taliban Pakistan’s (TTP) top militant commander Rafiullah has been killed in a gun battle within TTP groups in Afghanistan; it is learnt from reliable sources. Sources told The Nation that since 2011, militant commander Rafiullah was supporting terrorist’s activities in Pakistan with the support of Afghanistan’s former National Directorate of Security (NDS). In the past, he had facilitated and transported suicide bombers for terror attack on Civil Hospital Quetta and Serena hotel in Islamabad. He was also involved on scores of terrorist acts against police, FC, levies, and law enforcement agencies in the past across Pakistan.Sources said killing of Rafiullah would further weaken TTP network and its terror operations.
