A TTC operator was taken to hospital early Saturday morning after being slashed in the face with an Exacto knife at Eglinton Station. Paramedics said the operator, a man, received lacerations to his face from the knife. According to police, the operator was attacked after he exited the washroom. He was then pushed back into the washroom by the suspect, but quickly locked the door. The operator told police that the suspect had taken out a gun during the altercation.
