The hiring of heads of national schools and tertiary institutions is part of a strategy to boost performance. "Applications should be made online through the TSC Web – www.teachersonline.go.ke so as to be received not later than May 19," Mrs Macharia said. The principals will be lead educators and administrators and will manage and implement institutional curriculum. JOB GROUPSThe positions have previously been filled through direct appointments, raising concerns over possible abuse.
