KUALA LUMPUR (March 13): TRC Synergy Bhd has bagged a contract for Projek Mass Rapid Transit Laluan 2: Sungai Buloh-Serdang-Putrajaya (SSP) from Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd for RM858.18 million. This confirms reports last Friday citing Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd (MRT Corp). The companies are Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd, Gadang Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, Acre Works Sdn Bhd and Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd. TRC Synergy added that none of its directors, its substantial shareholders or person connected with directors and substantial shareholders has any interest in the project. Shares in TRC Synergy closed down four sen or 8.42% at 51.5 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM247.46 million.
