Alastair Cook scored an unbeaten 46 in his final innings in international cricket as England took charge of the fifth test against India. After finishing the third day on 46, Cook has 12,371 runs in total. This Test began without a half-century from an opener on either side in the first four Tests. But Cook could sign off with two at once. So there were groans when Virat Kohli fell to Ben Stokes for 49 on Saturday afternoon.
